In 2014, I occasionally included a brief informal summary of the key moments of a week in my Project Life page spreads. While I plan to do my album monthly rather than weekly this year, I wanted to make it easier for those of you that are still doing weekly pages to summarize your week on the pages when you might not have space for much journaling. So I created this set of weekly journal card digital/printables, which can be used in digital pages or printed and trimmed for traditional Project Life. The set includes twelve 3×4″ JPG files in a variety of colors, including woodgrain to coordinate with your stash of wood veneer embellishments, as well as easy-to-print PDF pages with 4 cards per page so you can print from home or have printed at your favorite office supply store! And this week, I’d like to give this set away to one reader!
While you’re waiting to see if you’ve won, you can head over to my Facebook page, click the “Fan Freebie” tab, and pick up the black version of this card for free until March 1! If you don’t want to wait for a winner to be chosen, you can pick up the full set in my shop now for only $3.00. If you purchase the collection and are later chosen as the winner, I will refund your purchase.
To enter to win the full set, all you have to do is leave a comment on this blog post sharing what the #1 highlight of last week was for you. Contest will be open until Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 9:00 PM Eastern Time. Randomly-selected winner will be notified via comment reply, as well as announced on a following blog post. Good luck!
Edit: This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to the winner, Lisa M!
If you’ve been following along with my posts, you’ve probably guessed that I am SO ready for fall! I’ve been slowly easing into wearing boots again (probably earlier than is considered socially acceptable!), and although I’ve been forcing myself to hold off on the first pumpkin spice latte of the season until it cools off a bit more outside, I have managed to indulge in some pumpkin cheesecake ice cream from Baskin Robbins. Fall is my favorite. So I’ve been itching to work on a new fall-themed kit for a while now!
While I obviously associate fall with cozy sweaters, pumpkin, and football, there’s also something about the look of a hand-lettered chalk sign that lends itself to thoughts of small family-run farms advertising their offerings of pumpkin picking, cider, and hayrides. This kit is inspired by these traditions as well as, of course, the colors of the changing leaves! Perfect for documenting your photos of visits to the local corn maze, Sunday “leaf-peeping” drives, or baking the perfect apple pie, this kit includes both quote cards and journal cards to help you tell the stories that go along with your favorite autumn photos.
To celebrate the approach of my favorite season, I’m giving away TWO copies of this fall printable pocket card kit. To enter to win, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post letting me know your favorite thing about autumn. And if you share this post with a friend and they mention “[your name] sent me!” you’ll both earn an extra entry! I’ll randomly pick two winners on the morning of Saturday September 20 and contact them by email (as well as update this post), so make sure you use your current email address to comment with, and get your comments in by midnight Eastern Standard Time on Friday night. Good luck!
Update: The giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to Sherry and Pam! You will receive an email soon!
Remember the brightly colored freebie cards I posted about recently? As promised, they were simply a sneak peek of the full collection I was working on. I’m excited to announce that my first full kit is now complete and available in my Etsy shop! And because I’m sooooo close to 100 likes on the Marmalade Mementos Facebook page, I thought I’d like to give away a copy of this kit to one blog reader to celebrate!
If you’d like to win, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post letting me know what your must-have digital scrapbook supply is (patterned paper, cards, embellishments, alphas, etc). I’ll randomly pick a winner on Friday April 11th at 8:00 PM EST and contact them by email, so make sure you use your current email address to comment with. Good luck!
Update: Congratulations to Erin, who said “I love it! Cards are my absolute must!!” You’re the randomly-selected winner of this kit!
As I’m sure you’re aware, it’s Valentine’s Day tomorrow, so I spent my day off (hooray for snow days!) designing a new pocket scrapbook collection to celebrate!
If you ask my mom about my childhood, she’d let you know that I always opposed frills and lace and other girly trends. While I’ve since started welcoming more feminine touches into my wardrobe, I’m still likely to choose modern and clean over frilly and pink. This collection celebrates that preference, and makes use of one of my favorite trends in the scrapbook industry this year: gold.
This set was just listed in my Etsy shop for $2.99, but I’m giving you a chance to win a copy for free right here!
